This founding chapter of the California Whiskey Sisters, based in San Luis Obispo, California, has been established to bring together women from all backgrounds and fields to celebrate whiskey through education, social events, travel excursions and networking, to discover the world of whiskey and the delicious ways it can be enjoyed.

Why Whiskey Sisters? – We want to erase the stereotype that only men can enjoy whiskey! Over 30 percent of whiskey drinkers are women who enjoy sharing this libation just as much as the guys! Cheers to that. We’re breaking this perception and celebrating our California women whiskey drinkers in our unique way

Who Can Join? – Anybody can be a member of the California Whiskey Sisters, as long as you’re 21 and over of course. Bring your significant other to our events and gatherings to see how we whoop it up! Learn about the fascinating women whose passions (and spirits!) make the California Whiskey Sisters so unique.

Kickback With Us
April is a Badass

What can I look forward to? – You can find us celebrating “Whiskey Wednesday” on the first Wednesday of every month at the Carrisa in downtown SLO. In addition, the Sisters will gather for special events and educational seminars exclusive to the Sisterhood. Learn everything about whiskey, tour Rod & Hammers, go on a trail ride, invite your friends for some line dancing or even go on a far away adventure – we’re doing it all!

How do I join? – Just sign up with your email address and phone number to become an official California Whiskey Sister. Our team will notify you of upcoming meetings and events. We look forward to seeing you enjoy the world of whiskey through the lens of the Golden State!
